Who we are

This website, apds.work, is operated by APDS – Asociación Paraguaya para el Desarrollo Sostenible, an environmental consultancy based in Paraguay. You can reach us at desarrollosostenibleparaguay@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

When you request our free guide, we collect your email address, and, if you choose to give them, your first name and your answers about your plan (what you want to do with the land, the region you are considering and your stage in the process). We use this to send you the guide, to send you occasional emails about buying and regularizing rural land in Paraguay and about our services, and to understand which information is most useful to readers.

We do this because you agree to it when you tick the consent box. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email, we use what you send us only to answer you.

Who processes your data

We use service providers to run the website and send our emails. They process data on our behalf:

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else for their own purposes.

Cookies and advertising measurement

This website uses the TikTok Pixel and the Google tag (Google Ads) to measure the results of our advertising. It records, among other things, that a page was visited and that a WhatsApp or email link was clicked, and it may use cookies to do so. It may also receive a hashed (scrambled, not readable) version of the email address you enter in a form on this website, which TikTok uses to match visits to ad results. The Google tag records visits to our pages and may use cookies to do so, so that Google can report how our ads perform.

How long we keep your data

We keep your sign-up details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to stop emailing you, to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent, by writing to us at the address above. If you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
